Hypothetical results have limits

The results before the live paper record began on 13 Oct 2026 are a backtest: the rules were run over past prices, made with the benefit of hindsight, and no real money was traded. In the words of the US rule for hypothetical results: “These results are based on simulated or hypothetical performance results that have certain inherent limitations. Unlike the results shown in an actual performance record, these results do not represent actual trading. Also, because these trades have not actually been executed, these results may have under-or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated or hypothetical trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to these being shown.” (17 CFR 4.41(b)(1))

There are often sharp differences between hypothetical results and the results a real account achieves. Hypothetical trading carries no financial risk, and no hypothetical record can account for the effect of real risk, such as the ability to bear losses or to keep to a plan through them (in the spirit of NFA Compliance Rule 2-29).

The live record is paper too: Vooum trades no real money. The follower result allows for the delays and slippage a person following the signals meets, but your own fills, fees and timing will differ.

Comments

Comments are visitors' own opinions, not Vooum's, and not advice: a comment can be wrong, and nobody here checks a claim in one.

The record

Every live signal is sealed when it is issued and its chain is timestamped in Bitcoin, so it cannot be changed afterwards without it showing; any correction is marked in the record itself. How to check it.
